Rawalpindi: Founding chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Thursday filed a petition in the Supreme Court committee that Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa not to hear cases against him, PTI, Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) and PTI members.
Former premier openly shared his reservations against Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa. Imran Khan in his petition adopted the view that he recommended sending a presidential reference on advise of the law experts in 2019 against Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
“Justice Qazi Faez Isa wife Sarena thought his constitutional responsibility as personal attack. On the wrong impression Serena Isa spewed venom against him in public and Justice Qazi Faez Isa agreed on her measures.”
The PTI founder said that the petitioner thought that after becoming a Chief Justice, he will forget the past, however, from the conduct of the CJ it is very clear nothing such thing happened.
Imran Khan insisted the three member judges committee that CJ Faez Isa should not be made part of the benches hearing cases against him, PTI, SIC.
Besides that he also insisted that CJ also not to hear cases against his family, PTI and PTI members.
He said that in the presence of the CJ in any bench there is no hope of getting justice according to the constitution.
