IMF Apprises Pakistan About Its Economic Challenges

ISLAMABAD: Highlighting challenges faced by Pakistan, International Monetary Fund (IMF) apprised Pakistan that growth rate continuing in the region could affect its growth rate negatively to the economy.

The IMF has issued a report regarding Pakistan and regional countries. According to the report, the growth rate has slow down in the region.

The report urged Pakistan to provide employment to thousands of unemployed youth while changing prices of petroleum prices are also a challenge for Pakistan.

Economic disputes are affecting economies while the slow growth rate of the region will affect Pakistan negatively, the report stated.

The development rate of oil importing countries will decline from 4.2 percent to 3.6 percent.
