IMF delegation has arrived in Pakistan for climate financing negotiations

ISLAMABAD: IMF delegation has arrived in Pakistan to discuss the climate financing program. Pakistan is hopeful of receiving a concessional loan of 1.5 billion dollars.

According to sources, negotiations are scheduled between the IMF delegation, which consists of four members, and federal and provincial officials. Discussions will focus on green budgeting, tagging regarding climate spending, tracking, and reporting.
