IMF executive board will review approval of new loan program for Pakistan today

Washington: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) executive board will review an approval of 7 billions dollars new loan program to Pakistan.

Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb expressed hope that the IMF board will give approval for news loan program.

He said that owing to the government initiatives rate of inflation and policy rate are decreasing.

On the other hand, talking to the media in New York, Prime Minister also expressed hope that Pakistan will get new loan program of worth 7 billions dollars from the IMF as its tough conditions have been fulfilled.

While the premier thanked Saudi Arabia, China and United Arab Emirates (UAE) over helpin g in negotiation with the IMF.

Talking to media in New York , the PM said that China like before helped us fully. While economic indicators are improving gradually.

With collective efforts, the government and institutions over came the economic challenges.
