Islamabad: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has placed its new demands for a new loan program.
The international lending agency has demanded that tax exemption, exemptions and privillages be ended.
The IMF demaned to hike taxes on luxury vehicles and plots while bring changes in the pay slab of salaried class.
In its negotiations with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), it suggested to uptick in tax on the plots of worth Rs 50 million.
The IMF expressed its concerns in faults in imposition of track and trace system while it also has given deadline to increase track and trace scope to five major fields.
The IMF has also given suggestion to complete installation of the track and trace system in the next financial year.
