Lahore: The implementation of section 144 across Punjab will be challenged in the Lahore high court.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf lawyer Azhar Siddique advocate has filed a separate petition in the Lahore High Court against the decision to implement Section 144 across Punjab.
It has been argued in the petition that Section 144 was implemented across Punjab to stop the protest of Tehreek-e-Insaaf, protesting is not an illegal act under the constitution, the right to protest can be exercised under the constitution.
Azhar Siddique Advocate requested the court to order to stop the implementation of the notification of implementation of Section 144 in Punjab.
Notably, Section 144 has imposed for three days and it is applicable from 23 to 24 in across the province.
