Lahore: Joint Investigation Team formed for investigation on torching and vandalization on May 9 has declared Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan responsible for the act after the PTI chief admitted that torching and vandalization were conducted on his orders on May 9.
Sources said that sister of PTI chairman, vice-chairman of party Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Secretary General Asad Umar were also held responsible for the violent incidents.
The Chairman PTI Imran Khan also confessed during the investigation that government, military buildings, military monuments and other government assets put on fire and ransacked on his orders, sources said.
The JIT chief Imran Kishwar has completed the investigation over May 9 mayhem, sources added.
The JIT made the PTI chairman part of the investigation thrice while the JIT also went to Atock jail for recording Imran Khan statement.
Sources revealed that the JIT will soon arrest Imran Khan in May 9 mayhem while investigation into torching and vandalization of Askari tower is underway.
