Islamabad (October 09, 2017): Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has convened a consultative meeting of party leadership at Bani Gala today to discuss appointment of new chairman NAB.
The meeting will discuss the appointment of Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal as Chairman NAB and after the meeting the party will give its formal reaction over the appointment.

The consultative meeting will also discuss PTI’s efforts to change Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah.
It is to be mentioned here that the government appointed Justice Iqbal as new Chairman NAB after consultation with Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah.
The name of Javed Iqbal was proposed by Opposition Leader in the National Assembly among others.
The PTI had proposed the name of former IGP Shoaib Suddle, former KP Chief Secregtary Arbab Shehzad and former Justice Falak Sheir.
However, Opposition Leader and Prime Minister during their mandatory consultation agreed on the name of Justice Javed Iqbal.
