Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has expressed serious concerns at extremely tense situation along Pak-Afghan border. The clashes between the security forces of the two countries are point of extremely concern, he added in a statement issued from party’s central secretariat.
Federal government’s Afghan policy is dangerous for Pakistan’s security while regional situation could not absorb such incidents, he said. Imran demanded government to raise the issue with te Afghan administration at the highest level to help effectively resolve it. Lasting peace is not only the need of Pakistan and Afghanistan but also for the entire region as well as the entire world, he added.
Pakistan and Afghan governments should take meaningful measures to protect tens of millions of people from the failed American adventure in Afghanistan. However, any compromise over Pakistan’s security and solidarity is unacceptable, he added.
