Islamabad(May 28, 2018): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Monday congratulated former Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice (r) Nasir ul Mulk on being picked as the caretaker prime minister of Pakistan.
The PTI said, “Want to congratulate Justice (r) Nasir ul Mulk on being appointed Caretaker PM.”

On the other hand, Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq has also congratulated retired Justice Nasirul Mulk on his nomination as Caretaker Prime Minister.
In his felicitation message, the Speaker said that Nasirul Mulk is an eminent jurist of the country.
He said his nomination by all parliamentary parties shows their trust in his personality.
Earlier today, Former Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Nasir-ul- Mulk was named as caretaker Prime Minister by PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Opposition Leader, Khursheed Shah while addressing joint presser.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi while addressing the joint press conference said that we have selected a candidate for caretaker premier who will prove to play a democratic role in the upcoming general election.

“It was a challenge for all of us and all names that were put forth were credible and respectable individuals,” he added. “We tried to make a decision which will be acceptable to the nation and Parliament,” added PM.
