Rawalpindi: PTI founder Imran Khan arrested in the case of terrorism registered in newtown police station.
Case has been registered against Imran Khan in New town police station for arson, stone pelting, resisting the police, damage to government property and terrorism among other provisions.
In a new development that emerged late Wednesday, the police spokesperson announced that a team of investigators from Rawalpindi, led by SSP Investigation, arrived at Adyala Jail and officially arrested the former prime minister.
A spokesperson of Rawalpindi Police says that a team led by SSP Investigation, while Imran Khan will be produced in court today to obtain physical remand.
CM KPK Ali Amin Gandapur and PTI leaders, including Seemabia Tahir, Amir Mughal and Aliya Hamza, have been booked as co-accused along with the PTI founder.
