RAWALPINDI: On the instructions of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, lawyer Faisal Chaudhry has been removed from the legal team.
According to sources, the decision was made during a meeting between Imran Khan, the founder of PTI, and his lawyers at Adiala Jail. Party General Secretary Salman Akram Raja informed Imran Khan about Faisal Chaudhry’s statements, leading to the decision.
Sources further revealed that Imran Khan approved the removal of Faisal Chaudhry from the legal team, and he was also removed from the PTI lawyers’ WhatsApp group. Additionally, all cases and other legal responsibilities previously assigned to Faisal Chaudhry have been withdrawn.
Further sources mentioned that during the meeting with the lawyers, there was also a discussion about Mishal Yousafzai, and Bushra Bibi instructed that Mishal Yousafzai be included in the next meeting.
