Karachi: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) leader and ex-mayor Karachi Syed Mustafa Kamal has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest call on October 15 is not in the country’s interest.
Holding a presser at Pakistan house in Karachi, the Member of National Assembly (NA) from Karachi NA-242, Syed Mustafa Kamal said that the PTI has been trying to target the country institutions for the last three years.
Syed Mustafa Kamal demanded the PTI to cancel the protest on October 15 as the PTI was alleged with anti state and the protest call on Oct 15 reflects the party intentions.
He said that the government and state institutions were working for betterment of the economic conditions of the country.
Former mayor said that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting in Pakistan is very important event.
Syed Mustafa Kamal said that everyone has complains but no one allowed for hollowing the country institutions.
If there is country then we have our politics and democracy, he said.
He questioned ” Isn’t this (PTI) protest conspiracy against the country” while he alleged that the PTI was following the agenda of Israel, he added.
He said that a protest is part of politics and democracy but our politics is not above the country’s prestige.
The MQM-P leader said that Israel has been resorting to inhuman torture and committing barbaric atrocities on Palestinians adding Pakistan is the last support for Kashmiris and Palestinians.
Pakistan is the last hope for Muslims around the world,he said.
He apprised that Zac Gold Smith, brother in law of Imran Khan, in a X handle post, declared Israel as light of hope while Imran Khan also had gone to London to run his election campaign as mayor of London.
He asked ” Are the sons of Imran Khan have same views like their uncle?”
An internal war has been imposed on Pakistan, he said adding that when you look towards this region for stopping of Israel agression then the opressed country look towards Pakistan.
He said that When Pakistan will be strong it will be able to help them while Palestinians were looking towards Pakistan as an intention of hope.
