Imran Khan Returns Pakistan From London

Lahore (April 24, 2018): Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday returned Pakistan from London and will be visiting camps setup in Lahore today to overview the arrangements for the party’s first gathering of the election campaign 2018.

According to PTI sources, the party chairman would be visiting party camps established at Data Darbar, Bhatti Chowk, Shah Alam Chowk and Sheranwala Gate and would review the party membership campaign and the preparations for Minar-e-Pakistan public gathering.

Talking to journalists at the London airport, before leaving for homeland, Imran Khan has said that the United States should understand Pakistan’s point of view and added that Washington has no right to blame Pakistan for its failure in Afghanistan.Imran Khan said that Pakistan had performed the role of a frontline state in Afghan war and received 100 billion dollar loss. Whereas thousands of Pakistani soldiers and civilians laid down their lives for peace.

Talking about Pak-US relations, Khan said that Washington is a superpower but it has to understand Pakistan’s viewpoint.“America has no right to blame Pakistan for its failures in Afghanistan,” he said and added the relation with the US should be based mutual respect. Imran said that it was also historic juncture that the judiciary has been playing its constitutional role independently.

The PTI Chief said that United Kingdom (UK) can perform an important role for the resolution of Kashmir Issue. He stressed upon a peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue. Imran said that India is violating the basic human rights in the occupied valley.

Imran Khan said that money laundering is a major issue of Pakistan. He said above seven million overseas Pakistanis are the real asset of the country.The PTI chief said that they will hold a public meeting on April 29 and will kick off the election campaign. He said that elimination of unemployment will be their utmost priority in their 100-day plan. Imran said that they will focus on education and health, if they were given a chance to serve the nation.During a gathering in London yesterday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that he will leave all corrupt politicians inside the boxing ring with Amir Khan, the Pakistani-origin British boxer.

Addressing an event here, Imran wondered what the point of such a government is when people do not trust state institutions.The PTI chief supported the chief justice of Pakistan, saying he is addressing issues faced by the average persons.

Imran also claimed that the chief justice praised the PTI-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, adding that in the province officers are posted on basis of merit.

He added that if the PTI comes to power, they will take assistance from overseas Pakistanis to reform institutions.
