ISLAMABAD: Imran founds guilty in 190 million pounds corruption case, written decision issued.
In the written judgment released by the court, it has been said that the founder PTI was found guilty of corruption and corrupt practice in the Al-Qadir Trust case, the founder PTI is declared guilty under the NAB Ordinance 1999.
The PTI founder was sentenced to 14 years imprisonment with hard labor and a fine of Rs 10 lakh while Bushra Bibi was convicted for aiding and abetting corruption, said in written judgment
The judgment of the court said, Bushra Bibi is sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment with hard labor and a fine of Rs. 5 lakh.
Accountability court wrote in the written judgment, the property of Al-Qadir Trust is handed over to the federal government, both the culprits will have to bear the consequences on signing the donation acceptance document on March 4, 2021, founder PTI and Bushra Bibi Al-Qadri University. A joint account signatory of the trust.
In the judgment, it is written that most of the case depends on the documentary evidence, in response to the evidence, the lawyers of the accused could not provide a defense, while in the Al-Qadir Trust case, the prosecution succeeded in proving its case.
