Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has suspended jail bharo tehreek after the Supreme court verdict on the suo moto notice over delay in elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The former premier took to twitter today, Imran Khan said that we welcome the SC judgement adding retaining the constitution was duty of the Supreme court of Pakistan.
We welcome the SC judgement. It was responsibility of SC to uphold Constitution & they have valiantly done that through their judgement today. It is an assertion of Rule of Law in Pak. We are suspending our Jail Bharo movement & moving forward with elec campaigns in KP & Punjab.

The PTI chief praising the judiciary said that today the SC has done it job through their decision boldly. He said that the top court verdict is a claim of rule of law in Pakistan.
