Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has levelled allegations of playing double game on former army chief gen (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa.
In his interview to a private news channel, the former premier Imran Khan said that it was the biggest mistake to give extension to former army chief gen (retd) Bajwa.
Imran Khan said “I trusted on him but he kept me in dark.” Ex-premier said that he was informed by Intelligence Bureau (IB) that his (gen (retd) Bajwa game has started after transfer of then DG Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI) lieutenant Gen (retd) Faiz Hameed. (Now he has taken retirement)
Imran Khan said that he had clarified on Bajwa that you were not here but there, then ” I will go to masses.”
On the other hand, former premier Imran Khan never tired of appreciating gen (retd) Bajwa in his quarter to four years rule as he sometime applauded him over his abilities, some times he presented tribute to him and sometimes he appreciated his patience.
