Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan today recorded his statement to a joint investigation team (JIT) in a terrorism case against him.
Former premier Imran Khan appeared before a JIT constituted for investigating his speech at F-9 park in which he had said to take legal action against a woman magistrate and high police officials over the torture on his chief of staff Shahbaz Gill.
The police team handed him a written questioner comprising 21 questions.
Sources said that Imran Khan apprised the JIT that his speech delivered in F-9 park are not implied in a terrorism ambit while he apprised that he has talked about taking legal action and didn’t threat any one in his speech.

As per the statement recorded to the chief of JIT SP investigation team Rukhsar Mehdi, Imran Khan said that the police on the pressure of “the imported government” registered terrorism case against him.
Talking to media after appearing before the JIT, Imran Khan said that he for the first time appeared before the JIT for investigation of the terrorism charges against him owing to which the country was mocked across the world.
The former premier said that as much as you sidelined us towards a wall we are preparing as much. He said that if he was called a march towards Islamabad the imported government will not be able to tolerate it.
Chairman PTI Imran Khan has been sent a notice again to appear before the JIT at SSP investigation office Islamabad.
The IHC has also ordered him to appear before the investigation.
