ISLAMABAD: Chairman IRSA Rao Irshad Ali Khan has said that World Bank is the guarantor of Indus Water Treaty, adding that Pakistan and India, in any way, cannot dissolve the agreement.
In response to threat to end Indus Water Treaty by India, Chairman IRSA has said that Indus Water Treaty was maintained by India and Pakistan despite war of 65 and 71. He said that World Bank is the guarantor of Indus Water Treaty, which includes United States including all countries of the world, while the survival of both countries also lies on this agreement.
