Amir looked for a hat-trick with the fall of seventh wicket of Ravindra Jadeja 0-1, quickly after dismissal of Rishabh Pant for 42 off 31.
Pakistan shatter India’s dream to score big as archrivals were all out at 119-9
Pakistan’s first wicket against India fell for 26 runs when captain Babar Azam was caught out after scoring 13 runs. Pakistan’s second wicket fell for 57 runs, Usman Khan got out after scoring 13 runs.
Pakistan’s third wicket fell for 73 runs, Fakhar Zaman was caught out after scoring 13 runs. Pakistan’s fourth wicket fell for 80 runs when set batsman Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed for 31 runs. The fifth player to be dismissed by Pakistan was Shadab Khan who was dismissed for 4 runs on a total score of 88.
Pakistan’s sixth wicket against India fell for 102 runs, Iftikhar Ahmed was caught out after scoring 5 runs. Pakistan’s seventh player to get out was Imad Wasim who was dismissed for 15 runs. Naseem Shah remained not out with 10 runs.
Jasprit Bumrah took 3 wickets for India and won the man of the match award.
