ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar stated that India is engaging in a proxy war following its defeat in direct conflict. He emphasized that efforts are being made to destabilize Pakistan, with terrorists allegedly receiving support from Afghan soil.
Tarar highlighted that Pakistan has submitted substantial evidence of terrorism to Afghanistan. Addressing the strong response delivered to India during the conflict, he remarked that elements who fled the battlefield waving white flags are now regrouping with external assistance.
The minister pointed out that both India and Afghanistan are displaying their unsavory actions to the international community, while Pakistan has presented comprehensive proof of terrorism during discussions.
He assured that the country’s security forces are fully prepared to tackle such challenges, and no leniency will be extended to terrorists. He declared that defeat is inevitable for those involved in terrorism, reiterating Pakistan’s leadership’s unwavering resolve to overcome these threats at any cost.
Tarar concluded that Pakistan is committed to safeguarding its citizens and will take necessary measures to ensure stability, fostering the conditions needed for national progress and prosperity.
