ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is responding effectively to Indian aggression along the Line of Control and the international border, Khawaja Asif
In a media statement outside the Parliament Defense Minister claimed that, India has been suffering significant setbacks, with reports of heavy hits at their military positions during nighttime operations. The Defense Minister accused India of concealing the true extent of these hits and of disseminating false information.
“India is taking heavy hits along the Line of Control and the border everywhere. We targeted their military even during the night,” Khawaja Asif stated.
He emphasized that, Pakistan’s military operations are precise and aimed solely at Indian military targets.
The Minister also condemned India for allegedly violating international laws by targeting civilian populations, a claim that underscores the heightened tensions. “India has violated international laws by targeting civilian populations,” he asserted.
Khawaja Asif reaffirmed Pakistan’s stance that, its military actions are aimed only at Indian military installations and not civilians. “We will only target their military, not the Indian civilians,” he emphasized.
He further noted that, the ongoing tensions have disrupted normal life and warned that the situation is unlikely to return to normal in the near future, reflecting concerns over regional stability.
