ISLAMABAD: If a nuclear war occurs, its consequences will not be limited to Pakistan alone, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari
Former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has stated that, India is using water as a weapon. In the event of a war between nuclear states, the outcomes will not be confined to Pakistan.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that, Pakistan has been the most affected by terrorism, and there should be a solution to rid the region of terrorism.
He also mentioned that, India is using water as a weapon, and future generations may fight over water issues. It is unfortunate. If a war occurs between nuclear countries, the consequences will not be limited to Pakistan alone.
He emphasized that Pakistan’s message is one of peace and that it is being conveyed worldwide.
He criticized Modi for making baseless accusations, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called for an impartial investigation. He said India’s stance is very weak.
Bilawal stated that, India has violated the Indus Waters Treaty and stressed the need to find a solution to water issues. It is the responsibility of future generations to strive for a new future.
