India set enormous 398 runs target for New Zealand in 1st Semi Final of WC

Mumbai: India continuing its batting prowess have set an enormous total of 398 runs to New Zealand in first semi final of World Cup 2023 here at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has won the toss and elected to bat first.

Two tons were scored today one by Virat Kohili and second by Shreyas Iyer while Shubman Gill made magnificent 80 runs before he retired hurt.

Shreyas Iyer also played extraordinary innings scoring 105 runs off 70 balls with an explosive strike rate of 150.

Rohit Sharma and Shibman Gill gave a brilliant start to Indian team as Rohit Sharma scored 47 runs off 29 balls with remarkable strike rate of 162.06.

From New Zealand side Tim Southee begged three wickets while Trent Boult picked one wicket.
