LAHORE: India suspended the Lahore-Delhi Dosti Bus service as tension at Line of Control and working boundary flared up following India claim of carrying out surgical strike along LoC.
The Dosti-Bus, which was initiated between Lahore and Delhi in 1998 under an agreement between then Indian Prime Minister Vajpayee and Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Shairf, went Delhi on Tuesday as per its schedule.
It was to travel back to Lahore from Delhi on Friday as per its schedule. However, India did not allow the bust to set off to Lahore from Delhi on Friday.
The service was suspended by India following the flare up in tension at LoC.
