KARACHI: The Indian government has expressed gratitude to Government of Pakistan for freeing the land of its High Commissioner in Karachi, Foreign Office of Pakistan said in a statement on Sunday.
According to diplomatic sources, Indian government had approached Pakistani officials on last Wednesday night, urging to take action against land mafia that had illegally possessed the land of Indian High Commissioner.
Sindh Rangers carried out an operation in the targeted area and cleared the land in period of only three hours, sources said.
