RAWALPINDI: Pakistan and China are dedicated to fostering regional stability and working unitedly against terrorism, said DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry
During an exclusive conversation with China Media Group, DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, underscored the importance of global cooperation and shared responsibility among nations.
“Prosperity is rooted in peace and stability,” he stated, reaffirming Pakistan’s dedication to these principles.
He emphasized Pakistan’s resilience, saying, “After Allah, we rely most on ourselves. When we remain determined—as we have demonstrated—the international community recognizes our efforts and plays its part.”
Addressing current global challenges, Lt. Gen. Chaudhry pointed out issues like climate change and population growth, noting that major countries have ambitious visions for humanity’s progress. He criticized hegemonic tendencies, questioning the justification of attacks based on false accusations and the desire to impose dominance on neighboring nations.
The DG ISPR also highlighted China’s rapid development and its significance in the global landscape, acknowledging that terrorism aims to hinder progress. He expressed Pakistan’s aspirations for growth and stability, reaffirming the nation’s steadfast resolve.
“The Pakistani nation has never bowed before adversity, and we will continue to stand firm. Martyrdom remains an honor for us—greater than life itself—whether in uniform or civilian,” he concluded.
