Islamabad (August 8, 2017): Indian Deputy High Commissioner was summoned to Foreign Office on Tuesday to lodge protest against the unprovoked firing by Indian Army from across the Line of Control (LoC).
The Deputy High Commissioner was handed over a demarche on the continued ceasefire violations by Indian Army on Line of Control.

In the demarhe, India was asked to immediately seize the violations of ceasefire agreement of 2003.
It is to be mentioned here that Indian has been engaged in continued violations of ceasefire agreement and targeting civilian population along the LoC in Kashmir.
Scores of civilians have embraced martyrdom in the unprovoked firing of Indian Army.
