Indian Deputy HC Summoned to FO over Unprovoked Firing at LoC

Islamabad (July 8, 2017): Indian Deputy High Commissioner was summoned to Foreign Office here on Saturday over Indian Army’s unprovoked firing.

As per details, the Deputy High Commissioner was handed over demarche over the unprovoked firing and martyrdom of two civilian.

Pakistan lodged strong protest with India over targeting civilian population along the Line of Control in AJK.

Earlier in the day, two civilian including a woman were martyred and five other injured when Indian Army resorted to unprovoked shelling on villages along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rawlakot’s Abbas Poor and Nakial sectors.

The martyred were identified as Muhammad Sharif and Faiza Bibi while the injured are Mahnoor Tariq, Habiba Siddique, Riasat and Rizwan.

The Indian Army also resorted to indiscriminate firing in Nakial Sector in Kotli AJK. As a result a man was injured seriously.

Pakistan Army responded the aggression befittingly and silenced the enemy’s guns.

 

It is to be mentioned here that in recent months scores of civilians have been martyred in unprovoked Indian firing from across LoC on civilian populations along the LoC.

India is continuously violating the 2003 ceasefire agreement since the Hindu nationalist Modi has become Prime Minister.
