WEB DESK: An Indian stag was reported to have crossed the Pakistani border on Friday, entering the premises of Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL).
According to sources, Ali Hanjra, the ZTBL Mobile Credit Officer (MCO), was the first to spot and manage the situation by controlling the stag within the bank’s vicinity. Upon noticing the presence of the wild animal, the bank administration promptly notified wildlife authorities for assistance.
A wildlife team arrived at the scene shortly after and safely took custody of the stag. It is believed that the animal had crossed the border from India through an open or less-patrolled area.
The incident highlights the occasional movement of wildlife across borders, as well as the swift response of local authorities to ensure the safety of both the animal and the public.
