Srinagar: Indian troops in their unabated acts of state terrorism martyred 12 Kashmiris in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) during July this year.
According to Kashmir Media Service , 193 people mostly Hurriyet leaders, were also arrested under black laws during the month.
India is deploying highly trained Central Reserve Police Force’s Commando Battalion for Resolute Action known as CoBRA in occupied Jammu and Kashmir to vehemently crush the ongoing freedom struggle in the territory.
The commando battalion has been specially trained for jungle warfare.
Kashmiris to observe Black Day on August 5
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference General Secretary, Molvi Bashir Ahmad Irfani, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said the Kashmiris defying all Indian brutalities would observe 5th August as Black Day to give a clear message to New Delhi that they reject its illegal occupation of their homeland.
On 5th August 2019, Modi government had illegally repealed the special status of Jammu and Kashmir and put territory under strict military siege.
Meanwhile, National Conference Vice-President Omar Abdullah in a media interview in Srinagar refused to compromise on the restoration of Article 370 and the special status of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He said, since the BJP is not confident to win elections, it has taken up the process to increase seats in Kashmir Legislative Assembly in the name of Kashmiri Pandits and West Pakistani Refugees to secure its political dominance.
