Pakistan High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit has said that Indian gambit of trying to isolate Pakistan which is an important member of the world community has been an utter failure.
In an interview with an Indian newspaper the Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit said that is contributing immensely to international peace and it remains one of the top contributors to the UN peace keeping missions.
Pakistan is a country of 200 million people and its geo-strategic located makes it impossible for any country on earth can isolate it.
He also called postponement of the summit of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation, which was scheduled to be held in Islamabad, a collective loss of all the member nations.
Abdul Basit stressed that Pakistan and India should get back to the negotiations table with the framework already decided.
Pakistan wants to have a good relationship with India but the mutual mistrust would continue to exist till there is a just and fair resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
