Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Ishaq Dar has said that India’s irresponsible actions after the Pehalgam attack have put the region into a grim situation of peace.
Holding a presser along with Director General (DG) Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry and foreign office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan.
The DPM said that Indian illegal measures and statements have made the situation complicated.
Pakistan condemned all types of terrorism and its manifestation adding targeting innocents is worth condemning, Ishaq Dar said.
Ishaq Dar said that India has been exporting terrorism to the other countries including Pakistan adding the information regarding that the next 24, to 36 hours are critical are issued after credible information.
He said that India is deliberately disturbing peace in the region while he said that Pakistan is only country who played front line role against the terrorism.
“The world leaders have been requesting the exercise of restraint in recent days. I have made it very clear, on behalf of the government and the nation, that Pakistan will not be the first one to resort to any escalatory move. However, in case of any escalatory move by the Indian side, we will respond very strongly,” Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammed Ishaq Dar said.
Dar said the National Security Committee had made it “very clear” that any attempt to stop or divert the flow of water belonging to Pakistan, as per the IWT and the usurpation of the rights of the lower riparian, would be considered an “act of war”.
He said that allegations against Pakistan by India is part of its propaganda campaign. He said that Pakistan sacrificed 80,000 lives in the war against terrorism.
He said that India has illegal occupation in Occupied Kashmir.
Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said that Indian actions after the Pahalgam attack made situation regarding the incident suspected.
The FO spokesperson said that just after 10 minutes after the incident FIR has been lodged and Pakistan was held responsible for the Pahalgam attack without any evidence.
Shafqat Ali Khan said that extra judicial killing are being continued in Occupied Kashmir.
DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that India immediately linked the Pahalgam attack with Muslims while later its media hurriedly put the blame on Pakistan.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that terrorists don’t have any religion adding India conducted the false flag operation for political purposes.
India has been using terrorism for the political purposes adding put blame on Pakistan, take credit and win elections, he said.
The DG ISPR said that India started hurling allegations on Pakistan just after minutes of the Pahalgam incident.
He said that immediate registration of FIR after the Pahalgam attack and its content have raised questions.
We will see facts of the attack instead of the allegations adding the police station from Pahalgam is 30 minutes away.
He said that the Pahalgam where the attack happened is 230 Km away from the Line of Control.
Describing the facts he said that how it can be happened there was no intelligence information before the attack, he said.
He said Pakistan army is on high alert at the western and eastern borders.
He said that the people of Pakistan will defend its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity at all cost adding Pakistan army has completed all the preparations for the response of any adventure by India.
The DG ISPR said that whole of the nation is united as the National Security Committee (NSC) declaration has been issued and all the political parties have expressed clear determination that befitting response will be given to India on any adventure.
