Inflammatory Speech Case: Reconsider Challan of Captain Safdar Instructed

Lahore: A three-member committee of prosecution has placed objections in the challan of Capt (retd) Safdar over addressing inflammatory speech and threatening of dire consequences.

The prosecution has objected that a list of witnesses present at the time of his speech was not included in the challan while his inflammatory speech video should be attached with the challan and more solid evidence be made part of the challan.

The prosecution directed the investigation officer (IO) to reconsider the challan again.
It is pertinent to mention here that Islampura Police of Lahore has submitted the challan in the session court regarding addressing inflammatory speech.

The Challan stated that the captain (retd) Safdar on the occasion of the appearance of Maryam Nawaz in court provoked the workers and instructed them to vandalize in the court.
