FAISALABAD: Prime Minister’s adviser and senior PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah has claimed that Pakistan’s inflation rate has dropped significantly from 38% to just 3%
Speaking at an event in Faisalabad for the distribution of minority community cards, the former interior minister emphasised that all Pakistanis, regardless of religion, are equal under the country’s constitution.
“The law does not differentiate among citizens, but extremist elements continue to conspire against Pakistan,” he added.
Sanaullah stated that the current government is focused on providing relief to the common man.
“Our responsibility is to ease economic hardships. Inflation was previously soaring at 38%, but today it has been brought down to 2-3%,” he claimed.
He further stated that every time PML-N has come into power, the country has seen progress.
Acknowledging economic struggles, he admitted that financial aid programs might not fully cover household expenses but could help balance monthly budgets.
He praised Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for launching initiatives such as the Himmat Card for low-income citizens.
In a sharp remark about the media, Rana Sanaullah said, “If the media does not receive advertisements, these cameras standing in front of me will collapse.”
