OCCUPIED AL QUDS: Osama al-Ahmadan, a member of Hamas’s political bureau has said that Palestinian will not accept any deal without a permanent ceasefire.
Speaking to Lebanese TV, Hamdan said that if the blockade of Gaza is not lifted and a permanent ceasefire is not established. So there is no way that proposals based on a brief pause in the clashes will be accepted by the resistance. Hamdan said that among the Palestinians they want to release are people, regardless of their movement, who have been sentenced to life in prison for participating in or leading resistance activities in Israel.
In this context, mentioning the names of Marwan Barghouti, the leader of the Fatah Movement of Palestine, and Ahmad Saadat, the Secretary General of the Palestinian People’s Liberation Front, Hamdan said that the release of the people detained in Israel is a national goal. Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad bin Abdulrahman al-Thani said in an interview in Washington on January 28 that talks were held in Paris, the capital of France, with the authorities of the United States, Israel, Egypt and Qatar on a cease-fire in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners.
