ISLAMABAD: The Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, has commended the Pakistan Army for conducting a remarkable operation to rescue students in Wana.
While addressing the media at the Parliament House in Islamabad today, he highlighted the Pakistan Army’s rescue of over 500 students during the operation. He emphasized that this historic achievement by the Army would be remembered globally and serve as a case study in military academies around the world.
Attaullah Tarar also conveyed a strong message to adversaries, stating that Pakistan successfully overcame an enemy four times its size. He mentioned that the enemy has now retreated, and this proxy war is no longer a concern for the nation.
Touching upon the 27th Constitutional Amendment, the Information Minister expressed confidence that it would be approved if presented. He expressed regret that a productive, clause-by-clause debate could not occur due to the opposition’s reluctance.
He added that creating unnecessary noise and forming narratives without fully understanding the bill holds little significance.
