Info Minister Urges To Take Care Society’s Marginalized Segments

Islamabad (August 22, 2018): Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Fawad Chaudhry while felicitating the nation on the Eid, said the day reminds us of great personalities, who embodied love, affection, brotherhood, obedience and faithfulness.

He said everyone should take care of the marginalized segments of society, while considering the actual spirit of sacrifice.

Fawad Chaudhry said the Pakistani nation is rich of passion for sacrificing for one another.The Minister urged people to revive their pledge not to hesitate from any sacrifice to protect the country.

He also congratulated all pilgrims who had got the blessing of performing Hajj.

Earlier today, President Mamnoon Hussain felicitated the nation and the Muslims all over the world on the august occasion of Eid ul Azha.

In his message, President Mamnoon Hussain has said that following the teachings of Islam in true sense, can help reduce injustices in the society.

The President said Sunnah of Ibrahim (AS) demands that we do sacrifice and altruism in every sphere of life.President Mamnoon Hussain also urged the fellow countrymen not to forget those who are deprived in his hour of happiness.

He said on his occasion we must also remember the sacrifices given for the protection, reconstruction and development of the country.

He said going through the spiritual experiences during the blessed month, gives a realization about the difficulties of weaker segments of society.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan also congratulated the whole nation on Eid-ul-Azha.

In his message on the occasion, the Prime Minister prayed to Allah Almighty to accept our sacrifices and prayers. Imran Khan said sacrifice is a universal devotion.He said no nation can progress without the devotion of sacrifice. Sacrifice aims at submitting oneself before the will of Allah. The Prime Minister said Sunnah of Ibrahim (AS) demands that we do sacrifice and altruism in every sphere of life.

The Prime Minister also urged the fellow countrymen not to forget those who are deprived in his hour of happiness.

He said on his occasion we must also remember the sacrifices given for the protection, reconstruction and development of the country.He said may Allah grant us the ability to do this great religious service in letter and spirit.

Earlier on, armed Forces of Pakistan extended Eid greetings to fellow Pakistanis, according to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor, in a tweet on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha said, “Armed Forces of Pakistan wish a very happy Eid to fellow Pakistanis.”

The military spokesman quoted Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa as saying “May Allah Almighty bless our motherland peace and prosperity.” Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Naval Chief and Chief of Air Staff have also wished a very happy Eid to the Pakistani nation.Whereas the nation will celebrate Eid-ul-Azha today with great religious zeal and fervour commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim (AS).

The day will dawn with special prayers in mosques for the well-being of the Ummah and progress, prosperity and security of the country.
