WEB DESK: Instagram has started testing a new feature that is already available in the photo sharing app in slightly different from.
With a new feature called Flipside, users will be able to create their own secondary photo feed that close friends will have access to, it should be noted that Instagram users can already limit their posts to specific people, In this regard, the app provided the facility for users to make grid posts from close friends some time ago.
A feature called audience lists in stories is also being tested on Instagram, Now the flipside feature is a new addition which worked almost like the previously introduced features, this feature requires the users to create a separate list of their friends which is different from close friends.
The list will then be added to Flipside and they will then have the option to post to the main feed or Flipside.
In a post on Threads, Instagram head Adam Mosseri made an interesting comment in this regard, saying that on the one hand it feels good to create a private space and on the other hand it is another new means of reaching limited people.
