Karachi: Karachiites have been warned of rising temperatures today, with the mercury expected to climb up to 40°C and sea breeze remaining suspended during daytime hours, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
The Met Office has forecast hot and dry conditions for the day, stating that strong sunshine and dry winds will dominate the city’s weather due to the absence of sea breeze. The sky is currently clear, with blazing sunlight already impacting daily routines.
As of now, the temperature in Karachi stands at 34°C, with humidity levels at 29 percent, adding to the discomfort in outdoor environments.
Meteorologists expect sea breeze to return during the evening hours, which may bring some relief to the city’s residents. However, until then, intense heat and dryness will prevail across Karachi.
