LAHORE: Interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders Musarrat Jamshed Cheema and Jamshed Iqbal Cheema has been extended until May 10.
In Lahore’s anti-terrorism court, Judge Manzoor Ali Gul heard the bail applications of Musarrat Jamshed Cheema and Jamshed Iqbal Cheema in connection with eight cases from May 9, including those related to Jinnah House and Askari Tower.
DSP Javed Asif informed the court that the records of the cases are with the Supreme Court.
The police requested additional time from the court to present the case records.
The court extended the interim bail of Musarrat Jamshed Cheema and Jamshed Iqbal Cheema until May 10.
Subsequently, the court adjourned the hearing, ordering the defendants’ lawyers to appear with arguments on the bail at the next hearing.
