Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar urged the international community to mobilise immediately to halt Israel’s “murderous course” and persuade it to adopt a path of reason.
He stressed that Palestinians must be granted their inalienable right to self-determination.
Reiterating Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people, Dar called for the establishment of a viable, independent, and contiguous Palestinian state with pre-1967 borders and Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
He said that Pakistan has consistently supported this position and will continue to actively pursue it at the United Nations, Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and other international forums.
“We believe there can be no peace in the Middle East without justice for the Palestinians,” Dar concluded.
