The UN General Assembly adopted the resolution in recognition of the significant potential of multilateral development banks and other international development banks in financing sustainable development and providing know-how.
Banks can make important, positive contributions to societies, including by playing a key role in addressing inequalities & providing financing for the achievement of the goals.
