As International Day of Non-Violence is being observed today the Kashmiris are still awaiting for the end of Indian atrocities and violence perpetrated against them.
The Day is being observed to promote restoration of peace and encourage tolerance.
Indian has written tome of inhumane atrocities on the innocent and unarmed Kashmiri people in the part held by it. Indian jails are filled by hundreds of Kashmiris who want nothing else but being accorded the Right of Self-determination as promised by the UN some 68 years ago. A promise that remains unfulfilled yet.
India’s stubborn refusal to implement the UN resolutions has brought the region to the brink of war many times previously and it is doing so right now with its jingoism against Pakistan these days. Needless to say India’s stubbornness is putting the peace of the entire region at stake.
