Islamabad: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on Wednesday categorically said that internet service will not be shut on the Election day, February 8.
The PTA has issued a clarification regarding a news item circulating on the internet regarding closure of the service.
The government of Pakistan will not shut internet services on the general election day, Thursday, tomorrow, the PTA clarified.
The clarification ensured the people of the country that the internet service will be available to all the customers on the polling day.
