Web Desk: The International Civil Aviation Day is being observed today to recognize the importance of aviation.
This day will mark the 80th anniversary of the signing of the Convention on International Civil Aviation in Chicago.
In a message on International Civil Aviation Day, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that due to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s wise efforts, PIA has been allowed to resume flights operation to Europe.
She said that role of aviation cannot be forgotten for promotion of economy, tourism and public contacts.
She said that Punjab Government is committed to provide modern air facilities and the proposal to establish Punjab’s own airline is being considered.
