Legendary cricketer, former captain of Pakistan and incumbent Chief Selector Inzimamul Haq is celebrating his 47th birthday.
The former middle order batsman, who is lovingly called as ‘Inzi bhai’ by his cricketer colleagues, was born on March 3, 1970 in Multan. Inzi shoot to instant fame due to his memorable performance in 1992’s world cup win of Pakistan.
His performance with the bat in the semi-final and final of the event were instrumental in Pakistan’s march to victory stand.
Inzi, who is also called Sultan of Multan, played some memorable innings during his career and has been instrumental in Pakistan’s crucial victories.
After World Cup 2007 he retired from international cricket. He also worked as a batting coach of Pakistan team for a brief period.
