TEHRAN: Iran has detained two additional suspects on charges of espionage for Israel’s Mossad agency.
According to Iranian media, the Iranian intelligence unit apprehended the two suspected spies from Alborz province, accusing them of working for Israel.Iranian media reported that the arrested individuals were hiding in a house, where they were involved in manufacturing explosive materials and other covert electronic devices. Iranian authorities stated that further details and confessional statements from the detainees will be released soon.
Previously, Iranian forces had arrested five individuals on allegations of collaborating with Israel. Iranian media had reported that these five individuals were detained in the central city of Yazd for taking photographs and acting as informants for Israel.According to Iranian media, these individuals assisted in delivering Israeli commandos and drones inside Iran. It is noteworthy that the ongoing tensions between Iran and Israel continue. Iran had responded to Israeli attacks last night with strikes using drones and missiles on various Israeli cities. These recent attacks resulted in 14 Israeli deaths and over 200 injuries.
