Iran Vows further retaliation against U.S. Following Qatar attack

WEB DESK: Senior Iranian official has stated that Iran intends to continue its retaliatory actions in response to U.S. military operations.

The official emphasized that Iran believes it has the necessary prudence to pursue diplomatic efforts after punishing those it perceives as aggressors. He also indicated that if the United States is interested in negotiations, then attacks by Israel and the U.S. must cease first. In the wake of Iran’s retaliatory strike on the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei took to X (formerly Twitter) to assert: “We have not initiated any attacks, and we categorically reject any form of aggression. We will not accept any acts of aggression against us; this is the stance of the Iranian nation.”

Meanwhile, Iran’s parliamentary national security committee has reportedly approved a draft bill that would suspend Tehran’s cooperation with the United Nations’ nuclear watchdog entirely. Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the committee, was cited by the semi-official Tasnim News Agency confirming this development.
