TEHRAN: Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian strongly condemned Israel’s recent attack on Iran, stating that we will not remain silent in the face of this injustice.
According to the Iranian news agency, Pezeshkian has said that Iran’s legal and decisive response will make the enemy regret its foolish act.
He emphasized that today, the Iranian people need greater mutual trust and unity than ever before, and this spirit will enable us to give a firm response to this criminal attack.The Iranian president stated that last night, the Zionist regime launched a savage attack on Tehran and other cities across the country, resulting in the martyrdom of innocent children, women, numerous civilians, military commanders, and nuclear scientists.
Pezeshkian said this attack is a testimony to the truth Iran has been reiterating for years that the very existence of the Zionist regime is linked to oppression and brutality.He added that we will neither remain silent nor ignore this aggression and cowardly attack. President Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran has always called for serious negotiations and confidence-building measures for global and regional peace, but now it is time for Iran to take strong practical steps in defending its sovereignty.
He appealed to the Iranian people to maintain unity and solidarity, not to fall for the rumors and psychological warfare spread by the enemy, to trust government institutions, and to prepare as an aware and united nation to overcome these difficult times.
